WELCOME TO “CONTRADA LA CAVALLINA”

The Contrada la Cavallina, is located in the morainic hills at the Lower side of Lake Garda in the small village of San Tomaso in the outskirts of Lonato. It was founded in 1973 by Franco and his wife Adele. At the beginning this farmhouse included a horse-breeding with riding activity where guests enjoyed the taste of typical local produce, drinks and grilled meat. One year later in 1974 this activity expanded and besides the riding features and the holiday farm resort, some other facilities were added and these new ones made the La Cavallina unique in its kind. 

Nowadays the "Contrada la Cavallina" boasts two holiday farms called the "Cascina Reciago" and "La Fattoria", which offer an image perfectly in line with the environment and the local architecture. Contrada La Cavallina, situated in an enchanting area, offers newly furnished apartments, together with gastronomic produce; a very large swimming pool area of about 50,000 sqm, beach-volley courts, swimming pools, picnic corners and much more. There is a restaurant, where you can taste local delicatessen, while sipping some fine red wine and enjoying some lake fish, without missing a traditional delicious Italian pizza. There are large rooms for ceremonies well managed by experienced staff, a churrascaria where you can celebrate any event and enjoy a special Brazilian style evening. Last but not least, there is a congress centre, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for summits, conferences and business meetings.
Thanks to this wide range of activities, the "Contrada la Cavallina" aims to meet the needs of its diversified clientele, ranging from children to adults and including families on holiday, professionals travelling for business, young people looking for fun and couples craving a relaxing time.
